Our goal is to provide students with a secure, university-specific space to rent, lend, or exchange items within their verified academic community. This is a completely free platform—we do not charge commission fees, subscription fees, or take any percentage from transactions.
Eligibility and Access Control
Access to our platform is restricted to verified students of participating universities.
- Users must register using their official university-issued email address.
- Verified students are assigned to their respective institutional marketplace (e.g., LUMS students can only access the LUMS marketplace).
- This closed-community structure helps maintain a basic level of trust and security.
Information We Collect
We may collect and process the following data:
a) Registration Information
- Full name
- Official university email address
- Institution name
- Password (securely encrypted)
b) Optional Profile Information
- Profile photo
- Phone number (if voluntarily provided)
- Listings, item descriptions, and uploaded images

How We Use Your Information
We currently use your data to:

- Service interruptions or platform downtime
Users use the platform at their own risk. We provide no warranties regarding item accuracy, transaction safety, or dispute resolution.
Business Transfers
If TRB Institute Marketplace is acquired, merged, or sold:

- The new owner will be informed of existing user data
